Customer: Mark Agee
Mark Agee, an investor and entrepreneur, spent 3 years building his dream home in Oklahoma. He's finally been able to enjoy his new home for the last year.
During the design process, the goal of the house was to "recreate the feel of an Italian Renaissance Villa built to basic rules established in Palladio in the mid 1500s." To Mark, that meant "Frescos, tapestries, Venetian glass, painted beams on the ceiling, marble floors and marble mosaics. Those are some of the key elements that reflect Italian Renaissance design to most people and we were able to incorporate all of these items into the house."
Mark found Murals Your Way while searching the internet and soon after called in and spoke to one of the Murals Your Way Design Consultants. She helped him find the perfect images that fit the look and feel he was trying to achieve. Together, they sized and cropped the images accordingly to fit the walls perfectly in each room. The home is filled with a number of Master Collection murals including School of Athens by Raphael in the dining room, Ceiling Depicting Apotheosis - Full by Jacob de Wit in the guest room, Primavera by Sandro Botticelli near the jacuzzi and Sistine Chapel Ceiling and Lunettes by Michelangeo Buonarroti in the wine cellar. Mark said, "The quality of the product and first reaction to the murals has been GREAT! Guests have been particularly shocked by the 'Sistine Cellar'. Everyone, without an exception, loves that room. The experience with Murals Your Way has been excellent. I have and will recommend them to others!"
